John Sutton

John Sutton is President of John Sutton & Associates (JSA). He brings more than 30 years of diverse commercial and public radio experience to his clients. He is the former director of Audience Research at National Public Radio. He authored several major audience and fundraising studies in public radio and helped develop several public radio audience and fundraising analysis tools. Sutton provides the tools, materials, and training needed to meet those goals including:
  • Direct mail letters
  • Web and email copy
  • Staff training for annual fundraising plans
  • On-air spots and promos to support fundraising
  • Planning and appropriate goal setting for on-air fund drives
