Digi-Music

Specifically selected respondents from a target demographic rate any portion (or all) of your station’s music library. Songs are rated on degree of like/dislike, and familiarity.

Online Music Testing

  • Random recruiting from a specific target demo to participate in an online music test
  • 400-500 songs tested per session
  • 60-120 (or more) respondents, depending on demographic segmentation
  • Optional: discrete or continuous measurement, using Paragon’s EKG “dial” data collection and real time video output, which only includes like/dislike ratings
  • Optional: self-administered Perceptual Tack-On questionnaire
  • 30 close-ended perceptual questions are included at no additional charge

Personal Music Testing

  • Random recruiting from a specific target demo
  • Respondents come to facility at their convenience for the test
  • Test Methods: PDA, CD
  • 400-500 songs per test
  • 60-120 (or more) respondents, depending on demographic segmentation
  • Optional: discrete or continuous measurement, using Paragon’s EKG “dial” data collection and real time video output, which only includes like/dislike ratings
  • Optional self-administered Perceptual Tack-On questionnaire and music mix tapes can be included
  • 30 close-ended perceptual questions are included at no additional charge

Results of these tests are delivered electronically with Paragon’s revolutionary MusicLink music test software. MusicLink gives you the ability to examine your test data in infinite ways. Color-coded scores separate “losers” from “winners.”

Digi-Branding

Lifegroup Analysis is a detailed study of your station versus only those stations within competitive formats to yours.

Station Analysis is an even narrower analysis of your station, in that only your station cumers are interviewed. This is a study primarily for those stations well-entrenched in their market and format and is designed for fine tuning the station by increasing TSL.

Online Perceptual Study

  • 300-1,000 random online interviews of target demo
  • Custom questionnaire design and sampling plan
  • Factor analysis is used to cluster your target demographic into distinct music and format preference segments
  • A comprehensive, written report includes complete analysis of the results, summarizing the data and providing an analysis of the information. An in-person Strategic Planning Session will be scheduled at your convenience where the results will be presented and a client-driven Action Plan will be prepared.

Digi-Tracking

Perceptual and music tracking allows you to quickly gauge the success of a station launch, morning show change, or major marketing campaign. The difference between success and failure can sometimes be measured by the speed in which radio stations gather information. In addition, tracking provides you with instant cuming, favoritism, and TSL data within your station’s target demo.
