Music Testing
In the late 1970s, Paragon’s researchers devised and conducted some of the earliest Music Research done in radio. Since then, they have orchestrated more music testing, and in more forms and platforms, than anyone. It’s no surprise Paragon is considered a long-standing leader in the world of music research.
“We don’t just hand you a printout and say “Thanks.” With our Music Research, we are available to help you every step of the way. ”
Paragon has led an evolution of music research for several decades. In fact, Paragon has created many of the new methodologies over the years…from auditoriums and personal tests to EKG testing and online tests, and everything in between. Each Music Testing methodology comes with its own set of reliability pros and cons, sampling requirements, timeframes and cost structures. The trick is knowing which methodology to use when, but regardless of the course we recommend, Paragon will deliver actionable music research on a variety of levels…songs, styles, genres, and formats.
In addition to stand-alone Music Test projects, music research is often an integrated and critical component inside most other research projects (Perceptual Studies, Market Segmentation, Concept Testing, and Focus Groups).

Client Testimonial
I've had the pleasure of working with Paragon Media Strategies over the course of many years, in different radio environments. I've found them to be very savvy, and incredibly helpful. Their reports and analysis are easy to use, and full of valuable ways to sort the data. Additionally, they are impartial researchers, with no programming "agenda" on their part, except to help your radio station succeed with actionable information
